Three measurement layers
| Layer | What it measures | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| 01 · Readiness | Public signals machines can crawl and interpret. | Schema, canonical, content depth, sitemap, crawler policy, trust paths. |
| 02 · Observed visibility | What answer engines actually say at a point in time. | Brand mentions, citations, recommendation inclusion, answer share. |
| 03 · Authority movement | Whether web evidence around the entity is becoming stronger. | Independent mentions, credible citations, source diversity. |
Why the free score is not an AI rank
The public readiness scan is a deterministic CiteVano heuristic. It checks whether a site gives machines clear, accessible evidence. It does not claim to be a score issued by ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity or Google.
A 100/100 readiness score is not a guarantee of visibility.External mentions, authority, prompt relevance, retrieval and model behavior still matter.
How paid visibility testing works
- Define commercial buyer and comparison prompts.
- Record baseline responses and available citations.
- Normalize mentions, citation presence and competitor share.
- Execute on-site and off-site improvements.
- Re-test the same prompt set over time.
